Rates vary based on the commuting time necessary, in addition to the type of tutoring, instruction, and materials provided. We will provide you a quote for sessions once we have more information about the location and nature of your child’s needs.
Clients are billed at the beginning of each month for upcoming sessions. Invoices are delivered electronically and can be paid by:
Paying online via your emailed invoice
Using QuickPay/Zelle with the recipient: email@example.com
Mailing a check to the address included on the invoice made out to: Empowered Learning Project
We typically book regular weekly sessions throughout the entire school year and summer. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please give us as much notice as possible. Sessions cancelled within 48 hours of the appointment will be charged at the full rate, even if the session is rescheduled to another time. We believe this policy reflects respect for everyone’s time.
The first three instances of advance cancellation or rescheduling will not incur a charge. However, after three instances, sessions cancelled or rescheduled more than 48 hours in advance will be charged at half the rate.
We understand that there are special life events and travel plans. If we are informed of these plans with ample notice, we will waive our cancellation policy on a case-by-case basis.
How To Cancel
Email firstname.lastname@example.org to cancel your session more than 48 hours before your scheduled tutoring session. We will do our best to reschedule your session.
If a student is more than 15 minutes late, this constitutes as a “no show” and the session will be charged at the full rate, even if it rescheduled to another time. If your tutor is late, they will stay past the scheduled time to make up the amount of time necessary to complete a full session. If this is not possible in your schedule, please email us at email@example.com so that we can make sure your time is respected as well. We will ensure you are not charged for time in which tutoring is not provided.
